Join the Friends of the Library Southport & Oak Island (FOLSOI) at 2 great author presentations!
Harper Library, 109 E. Moore St. in Southport, will welcome author Robert Remail at 2:00 PM today (5/18) to discuss his novel, The Diary of Dusty Fisher, a book of “3 parts country music, 2 parts love, and 1 part insanity”!
Dana Sachs will be appear in a special event at 801 Ocean Event Center, 801 Ocean Dr. in Oak Island, on Monday (5/22) at 2:00 PM. Sachs is a journalist, cofounder of the nonprofit, Humanity Now: Direct Refugee Relief, and author of All Else Failed: The Unlikely Volunteers at the Heart of the Migrant Aid Crisis.

FOLSOI’s Once More Bookstore, located in Southport Realty, 727 N. Howe St. in Southport, is open M – F from 1:00 – 3:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM – Noon. Donations can be made at the side door on 8th St. on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM – Noon.
