• Historic Chapel of the Cross self-guided tours, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at St. Phillips Church, 203 E Moore St., Southport
• Fort Johnston Visitor’s Center and Museum will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at 203 E. Bay St., Southport
• The NC Maritime Museum at 204 E. Moore St., Southport will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
• The 9/11 Remembered Traveling Memorial, 3 p.m. at the intersection of N.C. 87 and N.C. 211, Southport
• Welcoming ceremony, 6 p.m. on Fort Johnston Garrison Lawn, 203 E. Bay St., Southport
• Flyover will be at 6 p.m. at Southport Waterfront Park, Southport
• Reading of the Declaration of Independence at 6:15 p.m. on Fort Johnston Garrison Lawn, 203 E. Bay St., Southport
• The 440th Army Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Fort Johnston Garrison Lawn, 203 E. Bay St., Southport
