Artisan Events

The Artisans Gallery on Howe at 114 E. Moore St. in Southport is hosting another fun-filled First Friday event on the porch this Friday (7/7) from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Live music on the porch will be provided by The Ford Project. Complimentary wine and appetizers will be served inside the Gallery. On Saturday (7/8), the Gallery will host a FREE children’s event from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on the porch. The event will include a book signing from award-winning author Paula Bebe Murphy, as well as readings and face painting. Book readings will be held at 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Murphy’s children’s book, “Wilbur’s Wish,” is a heart-warming story that celebrates the beauty of being different. All ages are invited. Be sure to chat with Paula about her inspiration for writing her book. Hard-cover and paperback books will be available, as well as a personalized message from Wilbur.
